The occasion marked the 35th anniversary of the original recording and has been approved by Yoko Ono.

Kauai Lagoons Golf Course
Kauai Lagoons Golf Club on the majestic Garden Island of Kauai is home to two award winning Jack Nicklaus designed golf courses. The dramatic Kiele Course(key-ay-lay) weaves along imposing ocean cliffs, lush valleys, and among 40 acres of fresh water lagoons. Its companion, the Mokihana Course (mow-key-ha-nah) is a Scottish style links course that features open fairways and well-guarded, small undulating greens. The resort's courses, practice facilities, first class accommodations, food and beverage facilities, and Golf Pro Shop, add up to a golf resort experience that's second to none!
The Puakea Golf Course
Imagine yourself walking up to the first tee with a view of the Pacific Ocean behind you and Mount Haupu towering over you. This isn't a dream.... this is Puakea Golf Course. Robin Nelson, Hawaii’s most prolific golf course architect, designed the course to play around deep ravines and streams fed by fresh mountain rain water. With the inspirational terrain and calming mountain range backdrop, you'll find Puakea Golf Course to play differently under a variety of weather conditions of wind and water. Nelson’s masterful architecture clearly conveys the routes one should take to achieve textbook pars. He hints enticingly at ways to achieve challenging birdies, but that gamble can quickly turn into bogey or worse.

Olympic Cafe (#1 in the map below)
Best place for breakfast. They do a good full breakfast and a pretty good lunch. Over prized for dinner (it’s ok, but by no means as good as Coconuts or Kintaro, and will cost you the same). One of the few restaurants in Kapaa that have a bit of ocean view. Open at 7 am we believe. LOCATION: Kapaa, by the ABC Store on the north end of Kapaa (on the top floor of the big green building - park in the back of the building). 808-822-5825
"Lotus Root" Bakery (#2 in the map below)
Best place for light & healthy breakfast. They do anything from fresh cookies & pastries to organic smoothies, vegetable juices, and homemade (it really is!!!) lemonade & limeade. If you’re a health nut or appreciate organic wholesome goodies - this is where you might want to hang... Open daily from 7 am till 6 pm. LOCATION: Kapaa, pass the ABC Store on the north end of Kapaa. It’s one of the little store fronts just pass the ABC store on your right. 808-823-6658

Our favorite!!! Don’t miss this one. Pacific rim cuisine with delicious fresh local fish and the best Fillet Minion that you’ll find anywhere on the island. LOCATION: Kapaa, next to Taco Bell (Closed on Sundays!) 808-823-8777
Kintaro (#4 in the map below)
A very close second! Japanese food, with the best sushi on island and fresh fish, seafood and steak prepared at the table. LOCATION: Kapaa, next to the Shell Station - opposite the Wailua Family Restaurant (don’t go there though, unless you like low quality all you can eat buffets). (Closed on Sundays!) 808-822-3341
Blossoming Lotus (#5 in the map below)
Best vegetarian restaurant on the island. You won’t believe the food! It’s great, even for non vegans. We’re not vegetarians, but we go there all the time - it’s that good. By the way, they have some of the best deserts on the island! Try their carrot cake or any of their chocolate cakes! Live nightly entertainment from 7- 9 p.m.. LOCATION: Kapaa, by the ABC Store on the north end of Kapaa. 808-822-7678
The King & I (#6 in the map below)
Good Thai Food. The restaurant is not fancy but this is where the locals go for Thai Food. Much less fancy then Mema, which is their competition in Kapaa, but much better food and lower prices. LOCATION: Kapaa, next to Coconuts, in the little shopping center area. 808-822-1642
Pacific Island Bistro (#7 in the map below)
Excellent Chinese Food. They also do some sandwiches. Dine in and take out. Lunch/Dinner.

Foodland (#F in the map below) & Safeway (#S in the map below) supermarkets are located in Kapaa town.

Dukes
Pacific Rim cuisine. Part of the Mariott Hotel. Salat bar & fresh fish. Food is not as good as Coconuts. The location is what makes this worth going to (they are right on Kalapaki Bay and sometimes you can watch the big cruise ships leave the harbor) - make sure to get there before dark. LOCATION: Lihue, Mariott Hotel. Dukes has Valet Parking for $1.808-246-9599
Fish Express
This is not a restaurant, but rather a fresh fish market that also prepares box lunches. This is where the locals go to get their fresh island fish. They’ll cook it for you, or bring it home and throw it on the BBQ! LOCATION: Lihue, on Kuhio Highway, opposite WalMart. 808-245-9918
Garden Island Barbecue
This is not a fancy restaurant, but it's reasonable Chinese Food. If you want to mix with the locals, this is where you'll find them.

Deli & Bread Connection
This is a sandwich & soup restaurant located in the Lihue Kukui Grove Mall. You can easily find it between Starbucks and Macy's. Great sandwiches! Open for lunch until afternoon - no dinner. 808-245-7115
In Poipu try the “Beach House” 808-742-1424, and in Waimea try the "Waimea Brewery" 808-338-9733, located at the Waimea Plantation Cottages (it's a nice treat after a day's hiking in the Waimea Canyon).
